Taking Laurie's senior pictures was a privilege for me. She is a very rare young lady - sweet, respectful, responsible, and pretty all rolled into one! The day of her shoot was cold and nasty so we haven't taken her outside pics yet, but I wanted to go ahead and share these. Congratulations, Laurie!
Effervescent, dancer, model are the three words Sam used to describe herself to me. I would add friendly, fun, sweet, confident. I just met Sam, but she was so easy to talk to and work with. The time schedule was CRAZY, but we flew through locations, and I, at least, had fun.
Michelle is another of my former students; she had to endure me through both fifth and sixth grades. Then my daughter was her soccer coach for two or three years so I attended most of their games. Michelle was all business when it came to sports. She had little patience for her team mates who took time to ogle the guys and worry about their hair. While she is still an excellent soccer player, she has definitely moved in the girly direction! She primps, wears makeup, and squeals! Her soccer team also came away as State Champs this year!
I am so fortunate to be able to photograph senior pics of guys and gals I have had as students in years past. Spending that time with them gives me an opportunity to see what they are like as young adults and to learn what they hope to do with their lives from this point. Shelly is one of those gals. I have known her since second or third grade, had her in class in fifth and sixth grades, and chatted with her once in a while through her high school years. Now she is all grown up and headed off to college. I had fun taking her pics, and I wish her the best.
This is another gal I have known since grade school and have watched blossom into a beautiful young lady (inside and out)! She is probably the most thoughtful, respectful, patient teen I know. Taking her senior pics was certainly a privilege for me.
I had so much fun spending the morning with Alex. She is so laid back and sweet. I'm afraid I pushed her out of her comfort zone for some of the shots, but she was a good sport. Alex is such a refreshing teenager; she is pleasant to be around; she has long-range goals and a plan to get there; and she respects and loves her family. You can't ask for much more.
I was thrilled when I was able to spend some time with this beautiful senior. Alyssa knew exactly what to do in front of the camera, and we had a blast.

Daniel is also one of my former students. When he called to schedule his shoot, I had no idea how it would go. It's always a little bit of a guessing game when it comes to teenage guys and pictures. However, this athletic guy actually enjoyed getting his picture taken... And he was good at it! Who knew?
In May, I got to take senior pics of one of my former students. I taught Tonya when she was in 5th and 6th grade so it was a joy and privilege to be able to take her senior pictures. We had lots of fun driving around Franklin County, trying new things, and catching up on the new happenings in her life. She is a neat young lady, and I enjoyed capturing her fun personality.
